Music Ministries

We believe that music is a gift from God, given to bring us closer to Him. The mission of Briarcliff's music ministry is to bring people into closer relationship with Jesus Christ. To accomplish this goal, we incorporate many different styles of music into our worship services: Classical, contemporary Christian, spirituals, gospel, and traditional. We offer it all!! We want every person, regardless of age or religious background, to feel the Holy Spirit touching their hearts through our music. If you love music, we invite you to participate in our ministry. Our music ministry welcomes all levels of talent.

Chancel Choir

Briarcliff's Chancel Choir is open to adults and high school students. The only requirement for membership is the ability to sing in tune. The ability to read music is not required. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:00 p.m., and on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. If you would like to sing in the Chancel Choir but need childcare to do so, please let Andrew Harwood know at christinme7890@gmail.com. We will be happy to make the necessary arrangements.

Children's Choir

Children of all ages are invited and encouraged to participate in our Children's Choir. Not only does music nurture their spiritual growth, but children who study music develop longer attention spans and perform better on standardized tests. Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Please contact Andrew Harwood at christinme7890@gmail.com.

Instrumental Music & Solos

If you play a musical instrument or enjoy singing as a soloist, we encourage you to share your time and talent with one our church. To participate in the traditional music of the 11 a.m. service, please contact the church music office.
